Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
- A security deposit of nominally $1000* is required to secure the booking. Payment of the security deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- In addition, the FULL amount of the whole tariff [not less the security deposit] is payable at least 7 days before at the date of arrival.
- Please do not be offended, but you will be sent a reminder.
- When you are making made the payment, please put your surname as the payment reference.
- After you have made the payment, please send us an email to let us know to look out for it in our account.
- Please note that If this deposit is not made at least 7 days out from your check-in, we assume you are no longer coming, so the security deposit will be forfeited and the booking cancelled. If you will be traveling at the time and may be unable to make the transfer, please make arrangements for the transfer to be made earlier.
- Please remember it takes 2+ days to reach our account from when you transfer it.
- Please note that there is a cleaning fee of $250 for this property.
- Your security deposit secures the property for your exclusive use on payment, and will be returned less the cleaning fee after the stay.
- If any of this is a problem, let us know so we can make another arrangement.
- No-shows will forfeit the security deposit.
- Please note that credit card payments attract a 3% surcharge (PayPal charges)
- Although the security deposit will be refunded, the surcharge part of the security deposit is not refundable (as it is a fixed cost to us).
- Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the property is re-let for the entire period. If a refund is made due to the property being re-let then a $250 cancellation fee will apply.
- To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions;
- Number of Guests should not exceed the number quoted for in this tariff or subsequently agreed in writing or email. If extra beds are used in addition to the quoted number, a fee of $100 per person per night will be charged for any beds used that were not quoted for at the time of booking unless we are advised in advance.
- Parties and Functions are STRICTLY prohibited. The tariff charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this will result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
- Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
- Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 at the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
- Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and will result in termination of rental and loss of security deposit.
- The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days after your stay subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.
- A telephone is not provided at the property.
- WiFi internet access is available (please ask us for the code when you arrive)
- Pets are not allowed.
- Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the guests tenant's personal property.
